The Jumparoo. Retired but, Not Forgotten.

So this mommy was a little sad her BABY out grew his first toy.

Seriously what next, it's just like this commercial...

Next thing you know he will be off to work. Ok, maybe just crawling but, you know what I mean.  So in honor of how much he loved the Jumparoo. I thought I would post the first time he got in it and the pictures we took the night before we took it back.

So here it is, the first time...

and the last.

Good times.

10 months!

ACK.
Did that last month go by to fast for anyone else? I cannot believe how quickly the time seems to be passing. I swear I blink and another month has gone by.

So starting this month I am changing things up a bit. Instead of 10 about 10 months. I am going to start doing a Top 5 list each month and share some of what we have done.

Mr Jackson (Bub's as we like to say)
had a great month. The weather here in Georgia has been a little odd. We had two hail storms and anywhere from 40* to 80* weather. We made our first visit to the zoo. Got another tooth (upper left) and have two more top ones coming in. The last trip to the doctor his 9 month visit but happened at 9 and a half months reveled our big man is 21 lbs 14 oz and 30 1/2 inches long! So he is really tall. We are still not crawling but have perfected the back crawl. The Jumparoo was retired. This actually made me a little sad. It was the first toy he loved. So for him to grow out of it was bittersweet.

So here it is...
The top 5 things about 10 months.

1.  He said MOM.  Whoot Hoo! I was pretty excited about this one. I'm sure you can't imagine why. Not Mommy or Momma. It actually comes out. "Mom mom". Be still my heart.

2. Grandmom calls them "Bedroom eyes". He gives this look and you know it when you see it. Lord help us when he gets older. The girls are going to swoon.

( how much do I love that I caught this on camera this morning)

3. Top teeth! The top tooth gave us a run for our money. Poor Bub's really suffered with this one. But when you lay him on his back and tickle his neck. The full on 3 teeth smile, is just to much. I love it.

4. Singing on key. Now I know every parent must think their kid is brilliant but, I swear Jackson has started singing in tune to the songs we hear. It is the funniest thing. I will have to work on a flip video of this.

5. Talking to the Paci, rattle, ect . Arm extended, paci in hand and talking! This might be the cutest thing of all time. And he does it ALL the time. He will hold his hand out to see what he is speaking to then just babble away at it. So cute.

This month has been great. He is changing so quickly.
We are so blessed to have such an Amazing Little Man.

Whoa What a Weekend! (Picture Heavy!)

Two words to describe this weekend... Jammed Packed!
  • We hung out with Sissy,
  • Went to the zoo for the second time (with 12 family members in tow),
  • Went to Jackson's first boy/girl birthday party
  • (it was a 5 of the cutest little ladies and J was the only boy.   I'm sure he will love it when I tell him that and he is 15.)
  • TURNED 10 MONTHS,
  • Went to Little 5 and the Inman Park Festival.

I mean seriously are you tired reading that. Because Mommy is exhausted!

I will post pictures of the madness , enjoy the show...

Me and Sissy have a lot of catching up to do since we only get to see each other every other weekend.

Big Smiles
This is so funny. They were playing and Marah stopped really fast and said
"Eww whats that smell" ...

The very next picture (and I was shooting like crazy)
Jackson started laughing.

He had a "special" diaper.
It was so funny. Maybe you had to be there?

The Zoo
Daddy, Bobby, Marah, Nana, Bub's, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Scott, Sydney, Grandpa, Hayden, Aunt Amelia, and CC

Dad give me that thing.

Hayden and Jackson chilling out in the petting zoo.
Such a fun trip to the zoo.
This is Geneva. She turned 1 on Sat.
Don't you just want to eat her up!

So sweet!

Hi, My name is Jackson and I'm here to party.

10 month teaser...
See next post for special 10 month attention.

Little 5 at church
Look at the pretty Mom's

Inman Park Festival having some lunch.

Everyone teases me because I open my mouth while I feed Bub's.
 I don't even realise I'm doing it.
Mom caught me today so I guess I can't deny it anymore.

Thanks CC.

Sweet Man. It was such a fun weekend.
Those sleepy eyes say it all.

1st Trip to the Zoo

Jackson had his first trip to the Zoo today. We are a zoo loving family so we were very excited to take Bub's today. Aunt Sash and Big Sissy were in tow. They set up a new bird exhibit that is so neat. You get to hold them on a stick while you feed them. Jackson wanting to put everything in his mouth still thought these hand sized birds would work out great. At one point a zoo staff member reached out and grabbed his hand when mommy wasn't looking to make sure he didn't stuff it in his mouth. Thank Goodness, that wouldn't have been fun. We had a blast looking at all the animals. Jackson was very happy to wave to everyone who walked by and get smiles. He actually noticed the animals more than I would have expected. He seemed to enjoy the Panda's (man after my own heart)  and the birds the best though. Enjoy the pictures.

Pray for this baby.

Please say a prayer for baby Stellan and his family. You can read his story and catch up to this point but, Stellan has had to come off all of his heart med's to get his surgery this am (8:30am) . Please say prayers as he is restless and hungry. His heart won't let him settle and MckMomma is a nervous wreck as any of us would be. You can click the picture on the right hand side --->

Lord, Please hold this family tightly as they go through his next step.

The Dogwood Festival

What a fun trip to the park. We had a great time with CC walking through Piedmont Park. It was so fun to see all the vendor's and listen to the music. But, we had the most fun at the play ground. It was the first of many trips. This was my favorite picture from the day.

Ugh, he is so cute! This is his new thing, running his tongue over his new teeth!
Check out the rest of these we had such a good time. I think next year we may even do the 420 5k in the am. Then hit the festival in the afternoon.

A date with Baby Nora!

Kristen and I met my freshman summer in college and we were attached at the hip from day 1.  We are the kind of friends that no matter how long it's been, we start back up where we left off. I wish we lived closer and (crossing fingers) maybe soon we will. But, three hours isn't so close that we do trips that often. Now the last time we saw each other we looked like this.
Yep, that's right we got pregnant with in months of each other. This was the one and only time we got to see each other when we were expecting. Now, fast forward to last week. I got a great text saying she was going to get to visit for the day. Jackson was especially excited because he had only seen Nora in pictures. It was so fun to spend time. I love this girl so much it was so great to have our babies play. Enjoy the pictures.

Just because it makes me smile.

Ok so sometimes I blog stalk and end up on random peoples blogs. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes boring, sometimes I wonder what the heck people are thinking. I stumbled on a blog that had this posted and I have to admit I smiled the entire 4 min plus. I used to love this movie. So watch and smile. I mean come on this would be so entertaining to see in person.

And a picture I took courtesy of PhotoBooth. Just so Jackson can see that mommy was around and even in a picture or two.

I have some posting to catch up on. A date with Nora, and other cute stuff. I promise to get to that soon.

Easter at the Lake!

We had a great day out at the lake with CC and Bobby today. Jackson got to go on his first boat ride and even though it was chilly, Bub's loved it! He was even waving at the water at one point. It was the cutest thing ever. Enjoy the pictures.
