I'll keep it short and sweet.

On nice days we walk to meet daddy on his way home from work.
He gets so excited to see daddy's car.
and he loves to "drive" home. All three driveway lengths.
See?
Short & Sweet.

Like it's 1989!

My mom is a secretary at a high school in a town near us.
Tonight they had a fundraiser for a sweet freshman who is fighting a battle with cancer.
She lost her leg at the end of September and is putting up a heck of a fight.
The fundraiser was at the local skating rink.
Now I'll be honest. I used to figure skate at this rink when I was 9, I am now 29.
But, it's been a long time, like over 15 years since I have been back.
We thought it would be funny to see who would be better back in skates.
B or myself. He won hands down. I was scared to death of falling.
We also thought it would be fun to get Jackson in his first pair of skates.

Big boy watching everyone skate.
Daddy is concentrating so hard.
My handsome guys.
He was loving it.

CC on her skates.
This pretty much sums up my skating ability.
I was a nervous wreck.
I am much more comfy in my flip flops.
B was a pro by the time we were done.
And just to prove how bad I am at skating. See that cute lady in the white top...
She is our precious friend who is 14 weeks pregnant doing the Cupid Shuffle IN SKATES!
Man, I might need some lessons before we all decide to do this again.

It was a fun night for a great cause.
Sending prayers to Kirsten.
 We wish you nothing but, a full and speedy recovery!

Making Memories

This is what we do every other weekend with Sissy. Make Memories.
Jackson simply adores her. He is thrilled and counts down the days until she comes back.
This week after her game and Sasha's birthday lunch. We came home to enjoy some popsicles .

This is what happened.
I grabbed the camera because I think everything they do is funny.

Haha, what a good sissy.
It happened in seconds and she was none to pleased that he spit it in her hand even though she offered it.
Not to worry, he took it back and finished it. :}
Needless to say bath time was in order.
It's the little moments I love the most.

This was after bath time. She taught him this on Friday
and was so excited he would repeat it back with her.

Happy 21st Birthday to my baby sister.

This is Sasha, my ninnyfiedsissybrain.
I don't know how that started, it's just something we have always said.
I was nine when she was born and I thought she was my doll to play with.
I would honestly lock us in my room and hold her for hours. Mom would have to unscrew the door knob because I couldn't be bothered to open the door while I was holding my baby sister.
I have always adored her.
Don't get me wrong, at times I have acted like the momma.
 Other times like the over protective big sister {this is one I wear more proudly}.
But, it is all because I love her so much.
{one of my all time favorite pictures of her and bub's}
Heck, it just wouldn't have been right had she not stood beside me
the day I got married as my maid of honor.
She is a beautiful, smart, sometimes shy woman. I am so proud of you Sash.
We are taking her out tonight so at the stroke of midnight we can cheers her birthday.

Happy Birthday Sasha.
How is it possible you are 21.
We all love you so much.
cha cha cha.

Our conversations

Jackson:
"bye mommy, see you later."

:Me
"where you going baby?"

Jackson:
"I'm going to see Brabes {the Braves, he is holding a baseball and sable}

Me:
"The Braves? Baby the Braves are taking a nap"
This is my mommy out for visiting anything crazy, if he says he wants to go see Handy Manny he is also always sleeping.

Jackson:
"Ok mommy, then I go see Who Dat. Where is my football?"

Gotta love that boys way of thinking.
Happy Tuesday

The 2 minute laser show.

We had a really great relaxing weekend!
Saturday morning daddy had to go into work for a bit but was home by lunch.
 So we got to hang out all afternoon with no where to go.
We decided to take Jackson to Stone Mountain. Jackson had never been to the laser show and we thought we would give it a go. We knew we wanted to take the train ride around the mountain.
Jackson is loving trains right now.
He was so excited when he saw the "really big train".
His faces crack me up.

Then we went and found our seats and waited for the laser show to start.
They play music before it starts and he was dancing around.

He was so excited when they started flashing the beginning of the show.
He kept saying "like tv mommy".

We got all relaxed, ready for the show...
AND THEN it happened.
The fireworks shot off and poor Bub's was around my neck and begging to go home.
{phone pic}
Poor thing kept saying "I don't like that song, I don't like it".
As we were walking back to the car. They started playing the Glory, Glory song. Brian heard Elvis start singing and knew the fireworks were about to go off again so he took off running. It was a pretty funny sight, us scrambling to get out of there. In the end it worked out. We would never wasn't him to be afraid and we can always go back to ride the train until he is old enough to enjoy the fireworks.
So that is how we saw a two minute laser show. :)
Sunday we had breakfast at our local spot and went to the zoo.
It was a wonderful weekend.
Hope you all have a great week.

Just a normal thursday night. {video}

Daddy and son in their capes flying around.
What this isn't what you do on Thursday night?

Daddy teaching bub's how to fly
{He was saying Youuuu, from that superman rap song. Nice B.}
Jackson thought it was so funny
Look at that smile.
Big Cheese
Practicing
Ha! He came around the corner and was just laughing up a storm.
We can not wait for Halloween. Can you tell?
