Jackson's 2 yr Stats

This is  more a mommy post so that I will have this info in the future.

Well our boy is a peanut. :) Healthy as could be but, a peanut none the less.
Wt: 24lbs 12oz - 12th% + 1 1/2lbs since last visit
Ht: 35 1/2 in - 77th % - he grew 4 inches in 4 months!
Hc: 20.3 in - 97% we knew this too. we have the hardest time finding baseball hats that fit and he loves hats.
She was really impressed with his vocabulary and of course he got cheers all around for his leaps and bounds in walking.
At our last visit 4m ago. He was still scooting the majority of the time but, would take steps.
It's crazy to think he is RUNNING everywhere now.

{this picture is from last week when mom and dad got him his birthday train set. Daddy had to put batteries in the bridge so it would light up and when he went to get his screwdriver. Someone else had to go get "filipe" and fix his side.}

<3 my guys.

Happy Birthday to our man.

Sweet Baby Jackson.

What a year.
 I swear just yesterday I woke you up and sang Happy Birthday to you for the first time.
How is it today will make the second? (ugh, the tears)
 You have truly made us a family. I know I say this to you all the time but, you did.
Mommy and Daddy make an awesome couple but, until we had you we didn't know what our family would be like. And you sweet boy. You made us Perfect.

It has been a busy year. We started Physical Therapy with fears and so many questions.
We will forever love Miss Cheryl for the time and skills she taught you and after 8 months of weekly trips. You graduated with those first precious steps(In NOLA no less!)
I am sure every family celebrates them but,  boy oh boy were we so proud.
It lifted weights from our shoulders and reminded us patience was a wonderful quality to have as parents.

You said "I love you" this year. The most precious three words you say.
Well, that and "mommy and daddy" those are pretty great too.
You love balls, hats, trains, trucks, to color, to run-run-run,
your Marah, to read{brown bear, brown bear}, and "outside".
 Ice cream has become your favorite treat. Well, that and pretzels.
 Sable is still your best friend. He goes everywhere with us.
He is always by your side and you do not sleep with out him.
Just this month you have become attached to a red motorcycle.
Dear Lord, don't want to drive them you might just give mommy a heart attack.

You LOVE your daddy. You are a momma's boy but, man.
When that door open's at 5:30 each night. Your eye's light up. He adores you too.
To watch the two of you together is one of the greatest joys there is.
You just laugh and laugh. You are also becoming quite the comedian.
 If you figure out something you are doing makes us laugh then you will do it over and over.

You are surrounded by people that love you. You have a lot of love in your life.
(to those of you that do, we could never express how much it means)
We feel so blessed that this is true for you.
As we go into this next year we are excited to see what will be.
Anything with you is an adventure.
 Even a trip to the store is so much more fun than before.
What did we do with our free time before you? I really don't remember.

Happy Birthday to our Bubbie,
{bump, pshhhh}
{ugh the tears again}

May your third year and every one after be so much better than before.

With all our love.

A 2nd Year in pictures

At least a tid-bit of your 2nd year...

We did lot's of breathing treatments, PT and reading of Brown Bear.

This is exactly how you like to watch
"Manny (Handy Manny) or Mouse (Mickey Mouse Clunhouse)"
your favorite shows.
You also love George.
As in Curious George.
You dressed up as a lion for
Halloween and it was COLD
Your Nanny got Married
We went to the beach to see your Godfather.
"Drew's house"

You had a lot of firsts:

1st haircut
1st Braves Game
The Saint's won the Super Bowl
"who dat!"
You were a Model
You went to Mardi Gras and daddy got to ride in the parade for his 30th birthday
We took some funny Christmas Cards.
{I think you ate 7 cookies}

This was the day you were born.
Such a proud sissy.
Right after your first birthday
Still such best buddies!

You love to play with your tools.
"Pat the hammer"
You were even a super hero for a day
You think this is so funny ever night.
You made us put locks on the kitchen cabinets.
You went in a shark tank
You love bath time
You are turning into a
toddler before our eye's
You are such a joy!

We have one more day with a one year old.
Guess I better get in my 100 kisses since tomorrow I will kiss my 2 year old son for the first time!
{ugh tears}

Please Excuse The Lack of Posting...

This week.
A certain somebody at my house turns 2 on friday.
{some days I cry when I say that others I smile big.
Oh, the roller coaster that is being a momma.}

So please distract your self with these video's
until I am back on Thursday or Friday
with some neat stuff for our man.

Video 1
This is Marah at her All star game. She ran like a rockstar. Go Panthers.
While the season is now over and she will start cheer in the fall we just
LOVED watching her turn into quite the little Softball girl.

Video 2
This one is from the beach.
Just a cute clip of our man walking back and forth to the water
dumping sand from his shovel (an oyster shell) over and over.
Check out his trunks. :)

Video 3
Our Mister saying part of his ABC's and talking about the dishwasher.
You know normal toddler things.
Of course he has the attention span of a two year old so I couldn't
get him to stay put long enough to finish.
I just love when he sings though. His voice is so sweet.

I will be back later this week.
