Our First Celebrity Meeting!

Today Jackson meet his first Celebrity. That's right, we meet Hairy the Dawg! It was so cute. There was the cutest little girl in her GA cheerleading outfit.  Jackson was checking her out for sure. He even got his picture taken to be in the local paper (I mean come on, he is the CUTEST Ga fan ever). Such a fun day and dad had no clue so we surprised him with a framed group of pictures. He loved it. Hairy even signed a picture for Bubbie. Good times.

Flip!

Yea! We got a flip camcorder. I am so excited to finally get some video's of Jackson on here. We did another 5k this weekend. This one was the Duluth 5k fall festival. We took big sissy Marah with us to this one. It was their first run together. Note in video how out of breath (still out of shape) mom is. So enjoy the video, and look for more to come. video

3 About 3

Three months old. Can you believe it. Now I am totally stealing this idea from other boards I love.
                                                                  3 about 3.

1. I love the way he just smiles at me, even when he's sleeping and he hears my voice.
2. I love how he says "hey" and gets all excited when I say "where's daddy" .
3. I love the way he stretches out his hinny and arches his back when he wakes up. I could just eat him up when he does this.

I can't even imagine it's been three months. He is just such a blessing to us and just so darn cute. We had the big weight check today. Jackson came in at 13lbs 3oz, and  25 3/4inches! He has gained 4 pounds in the last month. Love this man!

Weekend at Nana's

                                                                        Big Boy Outfit

                                                                             Buddies

                                                                         Baby Stewie

Such a good time. Always the best food and just relaxing. They live up in the Dawsonville mountains, the weather was perfect. We had our friends up this weekend, Marie and Allen. They brought their seven month old son Stewart with them. We watched him while they went to a wedding at the Wolfe Mountain Vinyards (it was so pretty). It was funny to watch Brian  holding such a big baby. Bubbie is still doing really good with sleeping through the night. We are so excited about that. We also bought Jackson his first big boy outfit. Check out the pictures from our fun weekend.

2 nights and counting...

We have slept through the night. He dropped that midnight feeding and is sleeping from 9pm to 5am! It has been great! Look at my sweet boys. They sleep in the same position! Oh, yea. We LOVE to co-sleep.

We caught up!

Today is a big day in the Williamson house. Our 4 week early baby finally caught up. We had to pack up all our "newborn" cloths and pull out 0-3 months. I didn't know if we would ever get here but, it seems in the past week Bubbie has just gotten so much bigger! They are still a little long but, I know before long they will be snug. Check out those "chubbing" cheeks!

Great Week

This week was SO busy, but so much fun. We picked up big sissy Marah on thurs. It is so sweet how much her and Jackson love each other. He just wants to hear her talk and hold her hand. When she walks away his eye's just follow her. So Precious to watch. We did Bubbie's 3rd  5k today. It was so fun, In the Highlands. The FiredUp 5k with fire station 19. To fun, it was so nice outside and Bubbie just loves the stroller. He was awake the whole time just talking and smiling. That time is so sweet. Grandma CC resisted the urge to run today and walked it at my pace. I know it killed her but, it was so fun to just chat and walk. I guess in doing them Bubbie and I have decided it's more about getting out and walking then trying to keep up. Well and let's be honest, we love the t shirts. ((wink wink))

She got a ring!

What a great weekend. We hung out with Nana and Grandpa up in Dawsonville. It was really nice to relax and catch up. Jackson was such a hit with his big smiles and babbling. We are already making plans to head to the pumpkin patch. I am so excited fall is getting closer. We did our second 5k. Daddy and Nana walked it with us. But the most exciting thing that happened this weekend is Bubbie's Godmother got engaged! We love Chris and are so excited for them!!! It makes me all warm and fuzzy remembering how exciting those times are. I can't wait to start looking through Brides magazines again! Looks like a beach wedding is in the works. We can't wait.

Not Baby Related. My "Carrie" soapbox...

At what point in your life do you stop being afraid to tell the truth to people who you love? Why do we always walk on eggshells when saying the things that we know are true? Is it because we are afraid of what people think. Are we afraid we will hurt someone's feelings? Aren't we hurting them more by not just being honest. We are letting them go on thinking they have our support when in reality they are flailing and we are all just watching. Do we know they need to struggle to grow. Or are we really just afraid they will need us more if were honest?  At what point did it become ok to let things hang in the balance? If my strength and faith are in the Lord then why do I always get nervous when the time comes? How do you know you are really being helpful and not just mean?  I hope that it's not that I'm ashamed to say the things I know are true or soften them so I don't sound crazy.

Labor Day Weekend

What a great weekend. The storm wasn't as bad as we expected! Everyone is safely on their way home. Bubbie and I jump started my "getting back in shape"  by doing a 5k in Athens monday with Aunt Sash and CC. So fun, see pic below. And college football is starting! One of our favorite times of the year because it means fall is on it's way. We are headed to the Yellow Daisy Festival tomorrow I am pretty excited about that. Roasted corn for lunch, and looking at all the arts and crafts. Bubbie can hardly stand it he's so excited!
