St. Pete's Oh how we love thee.

Seriously it rocks people, if you haven't been you need to.
The beaches were fabulous, the weather just perfect and the company.
Well the company rocked as always.

I will let the 90 gizzigabillon pictures show you the vacation.

First time to the beach as a walker!
Not so sure about the sand...
Mommy what is this stuff?
Jackson and his Godfather checking out the babes on the beach.
I don't think Bub's thought that one was to cute?
How to keep a baby happy at the beach.
Step 1: give baby a bucket filled with ocean water.
Step 2: Let baby dump out said bucket 10,000 times.
Instant Happy Baby. Every.Time.
His ocean side set up.
Drew decided to teach Bub's it was cool to wear
your sand toy basket as a hat.
and he thought it was so cool for two day's
we had a hard time keeping it off of him.
No seriously he wouldn't take it off and cried when we tried.
Oh well what can you do?
Just go with it I guess. :)
We went on plenty of walks.
Even to the beach's botanical gardens.
We played in the water.
But, just enough to get our bottoms wet. Jackson was not so sure about the whole body in the ocean thing. What can I say neither does mommy really but, we did try a few times.
He just didn't care for it.

It is a trip as a couple B and I have done 3-4 times to visit Drew. This was the first trip with Jackson in tow and I can tell you it will be one we do at least once a year, maybe more.
If Drew can stand us that long. {he says he can}
Tomorrow, I will have the last of the recap.
Sunset pictures and some with a new four legged friend.

Wordless Wednesday {Beach Edition}

All I can say is that Jackie has some upper body strength like no other.
 My little 24 pound peanut was hard to spin around.
Recap of our vacation will be up tomorrow.

What a wonderful weekend. {mother's day}

Yes this is late woo hoo.
We got to the beach and had no internet access and LOVED every second of it.
More to come soon.
PICTURE OVERLOAD {just so ya know}

This weekend was absolutely wonderful.
We got to pick up Mar-bear Thursday night.
Bub's just giggles with her for hours. It is precious.
It is always so fun to have her around.

Saturday a.m the Mother's Day festivities began.
For Mother's Day Sasha, and I took Mom to the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Connoisseurs Tour.   It was so fun to go from home to home and see what amazing Garden's we have in our city.
Mom LOVES to play in the dirt so this was something she was really excited about. One of the homes we visited was Mr. Arthur Blank. Incredible doesn't do it justice.
Here are some pictures from the day.

Saturday night hubby and I went to a Zac Brown Concert.
It was so much fun. We used to see Zac in dive bars with 20 people.
It was neat to see him in such a large venue.

Sunday a.m we were off to church, fellowship with people I love always is wonderful.
Then it was off to Dad and Mom's. Everyone was over including my Aunt Helen from NOla and Steph and Christian. Dad made a great dinner and Steph brought Peach Bread Pudding for desert. Yumm!

Marah and I went to work with these ingredients

and this magazine

to make some "faux sushi".
 It was quite the mess {:)} but, fun. We only ended up making a few because they were so sticky. While I was making the rice crispy treats {rice} Jackson said "mommy here".
I turned around and was handed a little box...
{Yes, I wear an apron on my top half I'm messy}

They had already given my precious cards and a "keep calm and carry on" pillow that I loved. So imagine my surprise.
 when I was given an eternity band!
I believe I may have said shut up a few times. lol
They are too much.

Marah and I got back to sushi making and came out with this lovely.

She is just so pretty.

Ta Da!
The one and only finished sushi piece.
{but, don't think we didn't eat the ingredients}

Hope everyone had a fab-u-loso Mommy's Day!

MIA

Sorry I have been MIA this week.
I have a Mother's Day recap coming soon.
 I left my camera cord at mom's and you can't have a recap with out pictures.

I have a valid reason to not post this week...
I have this on the brain.

Can not wait. It is in our very near future.

I love this picture. Maybe we can get one like it...

and of course we hope Bub's doesn't feel like this.

We shall see.
I will have the recap up tomorrow

Lovies.

Three little birds...

Honestly,  my love for this song and the man came long before Jackson.
I spent one of the most real, soul searching summers living in Jamaica.
I came home changed, more alive and well kinda like an honorary Jamaican at heart.

Now you all know you can't love Jamaica and not love Mr. Marley
He is the one who made this song famous.

 So imagine my joy when pregnant with our first born when a friend introduces me to Elizabeth Mitchell.
{she even does a couple of songs with Lisa Lob... who I PPH}

Seriously LOVE!
We went on ITunes and got the Cd.
 I made a little Cd of 5 songs that I have kept in the car since day one.
We lovingly call this Cd "Instant Shut-a-Baby Up".
{No I don't ever want Jackson to "shut up" but, geez
 baby crying in a closed space will about drive anyone over the edge}
 EVERYTIME like a miracle Cd ... we start the songs, he mellows out and falls asleep.
((insert angels singing here))

But, more recently he has started singing along.

Take 1:

Take 2:
{yes we are a cheesy family and we sing together, we also dance in the livingroom for realz}
{{Don't judge, it's just who we are}}

Man I love that little voice.

Hope everyone has a Lovely Tuesday and remember.
Even when things don't go your way.
"Every little thing it's gonna be alright"

Bath time and Basketballs.

We had a busy busy busy weekend.
So filled with fun and family.

By the end of tonight someone needed a bath. Bad.
No complaints from my little guy.
He takes off running to the bathroom when he even hears the word bath.

Yayy.

What mom?

One ball, Two balls

Love that boy

Smelling delicious in that pink baby lotion we all love.
A little basketball game was fit it before we called it a night.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I finally got the Flip to work again so I will be posting some video's this week.
