Run don't walk.

Because this post is one so many of us need to read. Go and visit Angie's blog today and be quiet.
Really read these words and let them sink in.

It was something that really touched me.

So what do you think?

" I want you to know I am praying for you as I write-asking the Lord to remind you tonight that there is a reason you have left that life behind.
It has been swallowed by grace, friend. And you need not miss what He has for you by believing there is something worth going back for. Leave it be.The Lord has told you where to go and it's time to walk. Eyes straight ahead, tangled in the spectacular love of a Savior Who wants nothing less for you than the summit. And as you stare at what might have been, you are immobilized, unable to bring Him the glory He deserves. And also, He might make you salt. Just saying."

These amazing words just smacked me in the head. I needed to read them. I needed to be reminded as I watch friends suffer with heart ache and illnesses. As I feel overwhelmed some days and like maybe looking back and remembering is a good thing and then the Lord leads Angie to write a story about  a woman who turned to salt because she was loving in the wrong direction. I have to admit I spend way to much time worrying about things. I doubt to often that the summit is absolutely where God wants to take us, even if it is through plenty of valleys along the way.
So today, this afternoon. I want you to know I am praying for you.
Praying that you will look forward and not back to the things we thought would make us happy.
Because once again {full circle for me} it really is perfect for you at this time.

If you haven't go hug someone. Leave those around you better than before you were there. Live your life looking forward and standing for what you are deep inside.
As much as I love salt, I would rather just be a light.

xoxo ra

Hey lady! I read Angie's post this morning and loved it too. And I love your post...perfectly said! Thanks for the encouragement! Cristian will be 2 tomorrow - we're excited about celebrating this weekend!
We should try to plan a lunch/play date soon with the boys. Maybe some place they can run around. Lemme know. Take care!

As i was hosing down my back porch tonight and rearranging my plants, i was singing "We are standing on Holy Ground," Rearranging the angels that mom had given my years ago. Wishing so hard i could talk with her about all these things happening right now to those i care about. Thanks for reminding to keep walking and not look back. HUGS!
