The 2 minute laser show.

We had a really great relaxing weekend!
Saturday morning daddy had to go into work for a bit but was home by lunch.
So we got to hang out all afternoon with no where to go.
We decided to take Jackson to Stone Mountain. Jackson had never been to the laser show and we thought we would give it a go. We knew we wanted to take the train ride around the mountain.
Jackson is loving trains right now.
He was so excited when he saw the "really big train".
His faces crack me up.

Then we went and found our seats and waited for the laser show to start.
They play music before it starts and he was dancing around.

He was so excited when they started flashing the beginning of the show.
He kept saying "like tv mommy".

We got all relaxed, ready for the show...
AND THEN it happened.
The fireworks shot off and poor Bub's was around my neck and begging to go home.
{phone pic}
Poor thing kept saying "I don't like that song, I don't like it".
As we were walking back to the car. They started playing the Glory, Glory song. Brian heard Elvis start singing and knew the fireworks were about to go off again so he took off running. It was a pretty funny sight, us scrambling to get out of there. In the end it worked out. We would never wasn't him to be afraid and we can always go back to ride the train until he is old enough to enjoy the fireworks.
So that is how we saw a two minute laser show. :)
Sunday we had breakfast at our local spot and went to the zoo.
It was a wonderful weekend.
Hope you all have a great week.
xoxo ra

that laser show sounds so cool! and that's a bummer that he was scared of the fireworks...my kids went through that stage too! but i'm sure he still had a blast!

Wow, that laser show looks amazing!! How fun!! I would love that! Sorry your little one was so afraid! The train ride looked fun, too. There is no way my son would sit still for either one of those activities, but we are hoping that someday we can take him fun places without having to chase him around and fight the tantrums when he can't get down and do what he wants.

I've been trying to comment on your posts, but for some reason, I wasn't able to until today. Glad I can again!

That makes me laugh. I was like that when I was little. Apparently my mom sat in the back of a hot volvo station wagon with me because I didn't like fireworks!!!

He's such a cutie! We skipped fireworks this year for fear of the same result. You never know with these guys...next week he might love it!

That looks like fun - I don't think I've ever been to a laser show!
